That is the look our cats give us when we fail to respond fast enough with treats in hand lol
Hubby ran to the store earlier today and picked up some treats. One was fast asleep and as soon as he came home she went from the bedroom to the kitchen at warp speed as he told her when he left he was getting more treats. lol

Match the eye contact, blink slowly. If she blinks back you've just told each other other that you're both comfortable with each other.

Ive seen that look. She wants you lay down perfectly still so she can lay on your chest and look you directly in your eyes from 2 inches away until she decides it’s over.

The first image indicates that you have been acknowledged and your credentials have come into question. The second image indicates that your credentials have been accepted but your clearance may not be sufficient.

Look straight in her eyes, call her a good girl and blink twice.
Some say it indicates you mean her no harm. My mum swears by it and is some sort of cat whisperer.

Stare back for about 20 to 30 seconds and then slow blink a couple of times. A slow blank means I trust you in cat speak.

Looks like she's just asking for some space. Make a good impression! Go make some tuna salad and sneak her a dab before you mix everything. Then just proceed to the couch and chill. Maybe she'll be more receptive to chillage with you afterwards.

She might be confused. My sister and I sound so much alike that even our mother couldn't tell us apart on the phone. Our dogs and kids, when they were little, would just have the most confused looks on their faces. Why is my mother's voice coming out of this other person?

If she's giving you slow blinks that's a good thing. That's cat language for "I'm comfortable with you". Staring without blinking is usually a sign of concern or distrust. Though my tuxedo loves snuggling my lap and staring at me... just gotta feel out the cat I guess.
