Back when I was a bartender I’d wear the same hat every shift and a significant percentage of regulars wouldn’t recognize me if I ran into them outside of work without the hat. There’s probably some truth to it

Yeah I wasn't even being a smart ass. Tim is just a non descript white guy. Some am I. He has his hat, and I have a giant beard. Take them both away, and we would look like one and everyone.
