*IMPORTANT* Prohibited post topics *READ BEFORE POSTING*
Well hello, my fellow redditors!
In the last weeks, we had a lot of posts that were not reposted but were extremely similar to other posts on the same topics.
Due to this issue, we have decided to stop allowing posts about the following topics mentioned in the list:
•Parking mistakes
•Tipping fees
•Shrinkflation
•Price complaints
•Inflation
•Packaging being too big
•People falling for AI art
Posts that infringe on these rules will be taken down immediately and the user may be temporarily banned.
Also, note that this list is subject to change and will most likely be expanded as time passes so make sure to always check it before posting.

ᕕ(ᐛ)ᕗ Jkfl Redddit Meta Posts
Henlo frens!
Good to see all of you here UwU.
Grab on to your bodypillows, I have a smol announcement about the purpose of this subreddit.
This community is meant as a fun, lighthearted place where we can commiserate with each other about those annoying little irritations that hinder our day to day enjoyment in life.
That means that suitable posts here can be about my children.
And things like a wall socket or tile being placed out of allignment. A crack in a phone screen. Duckling shit on your new car. Incomprehensible software. Mismatched buttons. You know, the little things.
This subreddit isn't meant to incite rage mobs that go after people. For that reason we say:
No reddit meta posts
No posts about being banned from subreddit. No posts about up- or down-votes. No posts about shitty moderators or users or subreddits. No posts about reddit.
All jokes and tomfoolery aside, that sort of thing gets us in trouble with site admins. If we allow one type of post about reddit it then very easily moprhs into allowing posts that directly call out other subreddits or users, we just can't allow any of it.
That rule already existed for years and we have just made it more clearly visible in the sidebar on old and new reddit. We're gonna be a little strict on it for a bit I'm afraid. 🥺
Thank you all for being awesome and have a very Merry Christmas! Celebrate Christmas in the traditional European way, with a suasage roll!

My uncle billed the estate for talking to the police and coroner in the hours after my father died
Title sums it up. An aunt, my uncle and i found my father dead on his floor. We had to spend a few hours there to talk with the authorities and wait for his body to be removed.
As executor, my aunt hired a few family members to help prepare the house for sale and told them to bill accordingly.
Flash forward two years later and i see and invoice from my uncle totaling $2,000–half of which was for “talking with police and medical personnel after discovering remains.”
The money isn’t the point. The nerve of him to do that is.

Unknowingly bought a used, stinky costume.
I bought a costume from Party City for an event. I open it up, and I find out that it reeks of BO. Someone obviously wore it once, and returned it all smelly. I don't understand why they even accept returns. Someone bought this to use once and refund, but didn't have the decency to wear deodorant.

This guy owned 42 houses and called himself a small landlord
In an area that had one of the most deadly wildfires in ages and we have an extreme housing shortage. I get some companies have 1000 houses but how is one dude owning fucking 42 houses being a small landlord!? Delusional.

My local Six Flags opened with a new surcharge per purchase.
We found out buying a cheap toy for the kiddo. Most infuriating is after season pass discounts, the surcharge was a 36% markup.

Some junkie..
.. dumped their shit in the street out in front of my house last night. Had fun sweeping it up, but at least they left their sharps container. Most of the syringes have a dark red fluid in them. What is it? Some have just a bit, while others are nearly full.

My neighbor (apartments) keeps doing this because she doesn’t want anyone parking NEXT to her car (she’s not disabled)
She’s on meth if that says anything.

Less than 30 hours and my car is totaled
Bought a used 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport with 10k miles on Thursday. I have been car shopping after being in a car accident a month ago and finally thought I found my car for the next few years. Well Friday night this deer decided that wasn’t going to happen ran in front of my car without a second warning smashing straight into it head on while on the turnpike. I’m at loss of words didn’t even get a pre accident picture yet

The way my local UPS simply refuses to knock on a door
I was waiting for this package listening for the door when I got the notice UPS had "attempted" to deliver my package. I swear the driver must have sprinted away from my door. It was a tiny package too, so no real amount of effort was saved by doing this instead of just taking 10 seconds to deliver my package. This is the 3rd time the local UPS has pretended to try to deliver something that required a signature.

Man refuses to place child on seat in theater
We even suggested politely that he could move to the row behind us which was the last seat in the auditorium and was empty. The child could stand there if she wanted to and not block anyone's view. He refused. 🤦🏽♂️

I was peeling some boiled eggs and was putting the shells in a plastic cup…which I accidentally knocked over. Not really that big of a deal, but it’s pretty annoying.

Dealership had my car for 8 weeks, got it back like this.
Dealership had my car for 8 weeks taking apart the dash looking for a mystery rattle. I asked them to make sure and have the inside cleaned/detailed before returning it. I knew it would be dirty after the mechanics being in there all that time. They gave it back to me in this filthy condition. They didn’t even bother cleaning it whatsoever. On top of that, the grease stains up near the sunroof are super dark and heavy, and there’s a huge gash on the dash panel.

After a 14-hour drive, we found bed bugs at our AirBnB.
My wife worked for months to pick out the right house for our family, so it was disheartening to have it ruined like that. We /were/ allowed to change to a different house nearby, but it was a cheaper house, had a worse view, and a worse pool. And because we changed houses, there's no way to leave a review on the original house.
