Movies This is how I feel every time someone puts LOTR and RoP on the same level—they're not the same, agree?

Movies Rest well Théoden
He goes now to the halls of his fathers, in whose mighty company he need not feel ashamed.
In halls of Rohan, the mournful cry, A king now falls, 'neath darkened sky. Theoden, noble, of valor true, Now journeys far beyond our view.
Beneath the moon, on fields so wide, He led his men with strength and pride. But time's cruel hand doth claim its right, And takes from us our lord of light.
His bravery, a beacon bright, Guided us through the darkest night. With sword in hand and helm agleam, He fought for honor, for the brave men of Westernesse so bold.
Now stars doth weep in silent woe, As Theoden's spirit begins to go. To halls of old, where heroes dwell, His name in song forever to swell.
So let us raise our voices high, In memory of the days gone by.

Movies Got to meet Gimli
My son has Down syndrome and autism. He loves going to our local Comicon, but it's not easy for him. John Rhys-Davies was so patient and kind with him. It was a wonderful experience meeting him.
I asked for a single strand of his hair. He laughed and said that it looked like someone asked for all of mine.

Movies What are y’all’s genuine thoughts on this movie?
The hobbit trilogy is full of fun moments but the sheer amount of out of place goofiness and cartoonish actions really takes me out of it in the 2nd and 3rd films. I really think these films would’ve been a lot more solid with the more mature/serious tone of the LOTR movies. What are y’all’s thoughts?
Also Alfred is without a doubt the worst part of the hobbit movies.

Movies What scene from the books do you wish had made it into the films?
For me it was the Barrow Downs. Such a creepy, eerie scenario and Jackson with his horror background could have done something magnificent with it. I understand not including it and the pacing of it all but wished somehow it could exist considering it was a bigger scene in the books.

Movies Guys…I know the LotR movies are perfection but we have to talk about the most cringe part
Frodo falling like a ballerina. That’s all.
It makes me laugh every time
